PERFECT STRIPES

Experimental painting workshops in BSS School in Pori, Finland, 2026. 

Over the course of two weeks, I led 18 workshops with all 230 pupils at Björneborgs Svenska Samskola, working with children and young people aged 6–18. Together, we explored the expressive possibilities of stripes — colour combinations, rhythm, and mood — as each participant created their own painted composition.
Following the workshops, I created a collage mural composed of one painting from each participant — a collective artwork made from 230 individual voices, on permanent display in the school building.
